Are you Pro-life?

The question asked was neither, Are you anti-abortion? Nor, Are you against the death penalty? Nor was it just a general Are you against taking a human's life?

We tend to compartmentalize things in categories, and in many cases that is fine; but if we take a look at what Pro-life really is, some light will hopefully be shed on the culture of death we are in...

The bottom line is, The life of a human isn't revered as much as it used to be. The old adage "It's a dog eat dog world" has taken hold and life is more about an individual person (yourself) than about others.

Buying into a thought process that demands us to push each other down so "I can get ahead" demeans your life in the mind of the one with those thoughts. It is this thought process that causes one to place shame on another for their mistakes rather than hope and encouragement and a hand up.

As a child of God, I wish to portray the true Gospel that Jesus came to bring. To define that Gospel (Good News) in a nutshell, Jesus brought Truth, Mercy, Compassion, and Love with Him and the Gospel Message is one that will do the same. It will not shame, condemn or push down someone who is taken in a sin. It will give them a hand up and a hand of hope. Though the Gospel Message does not condone sin, it will work redemptively with it.

Go, represent the Gospel in Mercy bringing hope to many!
